Arrival in Dublin
Arrive in Dublin, Ireland’s vibrant capital. Spend the day exploring landmarks such as Trinity College and the Book of Kells, Dublin Castle, and the lively streets of Temple Bar. Don’t miss a visit to the Guinness Storehouse for an immersive brewery experience and panoramic city views from the Gravity Bar.
Dublin, Wicklow & Kilkenny
Depart Dublin and head south through the stunning Wicklow Mountains National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive along rugged peaks and lush greenery. Visit the ancient monastic site of Glendalough, renowned for its peaceful setting, historic round tower, and walking trails around its lakes. Continue on to Kilkenny, where you can explore Kilkenny Castle and the charming medieval streets. In the evening, relax in one of Kilkenny's traditional pubs.
Kilkenny to Cork (via Rock of Cashel)
Head towards Cork, stopping at the magnificent Rock of Cashel, an ancient fortress with breathtaking views. Continue to Cork and visit attractions like the English Market and St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral. If time permits, drive to the nearby Blarney Castle to kiss the famous Blarney Stone.
Cork to Killarney (via Kinsale)
Begin your day with a visit to the seaside town of Kinsale, famous for its vibrant streets and gourmet dining. Continue your journey to Killarney, where you’ll explore the magnificent Muckross House and Gardens in Killarney National Park. Wander through the beautifully manicured gardens and take in views of the surrounding lakes and mountains. End the day with a relaxing stroll by Muckross Lake or visit the historic Muckross Abbey.
Ring of Kerry
Set off on a full-day adventure along the scenic Ring of Kerry, one of Ireland’s most famous driving routes. As you travel the Iveragh Peninsula, enjoy breathtaking coastal views, dramatic mountains, and picturesque villages like Kenmare and Cahersiveen. Visit a working Sheep Farm, where you’ll experience a traditional Irish sheepdog demonstration and learn about rural life in the region. Continue along the route to admire the panoramic vistas at Ladies View. Return to Killarney for the evening.
Killarney to Galway (via Cliffs of Moher & Burren)
Head North to the majestic Cliffs of Moher, where you’ll take in stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from the towering cliffs. Travel through the unique landscape of the Burren, known for its limestone terrain and rare plant life. Arrive in the lively city of Galway, famous for its arts, music, and vibrant culture.
Connemara & Kylemore Abbey
Explore the untamed beauty of Connemara, with its rugged coastlines, tranquil lakes, and mountain vistas. Visit the picturesque Kylemore Abbey, set against a backdrop of serene lakes and mountains. Built in the 19th century as a private home, visitors can tour the beautifully restored rooms of the Abbey and walk through the Victorian Walled Garden. Continue driving to County Mayo and discover the traditional villages and untamed beauty of Connemara.
Mayo to Derry (via Glenveagh National Park & Donegal)
Journey north through the rugged beauty of Donegal. Stop at Glenveagh National Park, known for its remote wilderness, mountain views, and enchanting Glenveagh Castle. Enjoy Lough Veagh and visit the formal gardens. Continue your journey to Derry, where you can walk along the historic city walls, cross the Peace Bridge, and learn about the city's history at the Museum of Free Derry.
Derry to Belfast (via Giant’s Causeway & Carrick-a-Rede)
Travel along the Causeway Coastal Route to the famous Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its unique basalt columns. Arrive in Belfast, where you can explore highlights such as Titanic Belfast, Belfast City Hall, and the historic Crown Liquor Saloon.
Belfast to Dublin (via Boyne Valley)
On your way back to Dublin, stop in the historic Boyne Valley, home to ancient sites such as Newgrange and the Hill of Tara, which predate the pyramids. Drive on to Dublin Airport to farewell the beautiful Isle of Ireland.
